TIMKEN JOHNSON HWANG LLP specializes in real estate and business law, with sophisticated, high-level expertise in both litigation and transactional matters. Its founding partners have a collective 50 plus years of legal experience which they bring to bear for their clients in every matter they handle. While TJH is based in Northern California’s Bay Area, its attorneys routinely practice throughout California. TJH serves a diverse mix of individual, corporate, and public entity clients who are located locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

The founding partners, Heidi Timken, Leslie Johnson and Elizabeth Hwang, all hail from California’s pioneer real estate law firm, Miller Starr Regalia, whose attorneys author the widely-recognized and oft-cited, multi-volume treatise, California Real Estate, now in its third edition.

Timken, Johnson and Hwang decided to start their own firm, in part, to create a new generation of excellence in the field of real estate and business law by drawing upon their considerable experience in the legal profession while embracing the future in a way they know will best serve their clients – by using state-of-the-art technology in their practice, by understanding their clients’ objectives and devising innovative and efficient strategies to achieve those objectives, and by always thinking outside the box, so that “coming to work” is synonymous with “seizing the day,” every day.
